JOB SUMMARY
The Holcombe Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering is seeking a Lab Aide. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for high school students, and recently graduated Undergraduate and Graduate students to explore research domains at Clemson University. The Lab Aide will play a pivotal role in conducting research for Dr. Hai Xiao and advancing these research areas with responsibilities including, but not limited to: Supporting research in one or more focus areas of 1) Computing and Communications; 2) Energy Systems; 3) Intelligent Systems; and 4) Photonics, Electronics and Quantum Systems. Assisting graduate students with their experiments. Contributing to research reports. Other duties as assigned.

Expected Pay:
$12/hour Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson’s compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
