Sponsored Programs, Grants, and Contracts; +1 Institutional Research and Planning Diversity The Assistant Director for Research and Grants will be responsible for identifying, developing, coordinating, conducting, and managing significant research projects to expand the ongoing research agenda of the National Resource Center and to advance its mission. This includes developing and coordinating ongoing and new research projects, disseminating the research conducted by the Center, pursuing opportunities for external funding, overseeing the Center’s grant initiatives, supervising the research and grants team, and managing financial activities related to research and grant projects for the Center.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD or ABD in Higher Education or a related field
3+ years’ leading original research in higher education or related settings
Advanced analytical skills with knowledge of STATA and/or R
Experience with qualitative and/or mixed methods research
