The Constitutional Law Service Fellow will be part of a statewide program that provides post-secondary professional training and programming for public school educators on constitutional law and civic education. The program supports and trains educators through various presentations, partnerships, and public events. Primary responsibilities include developing written materials on constitutional law cases and related issues of history and government, public speaking, partnering with educators and state officials to implement programs, and providing one-on-one support to educators. Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a master’s degree in area of research specialty. Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills as demonstrated through a writing sample, internships or clinical experience, and academic record; Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders; Effective written and oral communication skills in both legal and nonlegal settings; and Interest in public speaking opportunities. Job Duties Job Duty Partner with school districts and educators to implement the curriculum development program based on research performed by the fellow. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 45 Job Duty Research issues and topics relevant to educators and state standards to produce presentations, trainings, and resources for the curriculum development program.
