Job Description
The primary purposes of this 2-year, post-doctoral, Research Associate position are to: 1) train the Research Associate in healthy equity-focused, community-engaged research as part of ongoing work in the Meharry/Vanderbilt Community Engaged Research Core; and 2) prepare the Research Associate for an academic career that includes healthy equity-focused, community-engaged research. Daily Operations Develop and implement and independent, health equity-focused, community engagement research project. Contribute to health-equity focused, community-engaged research projects of faculty mentors and faculty affiliated with the Meharry/Vanderbilt Community Engaged Research Core. Submit first-authored research manuscripts based on independent research project and those conducted in collaboration with faculty members. Present research at local and national conferences. Participant in community-engaged research training and other professional develop opportunities. Performs other related duties as assigned.
