College of Medicine Faculty Job Summary The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking applications for a research faculty position. This position is state-funded for one year and renewable, depending on job performance, proficiency, and ability to secure grant funding. This junior faculty is expected to work closely with our senior faculty in the Center of Excellence in Inflammation, Infectious Diseases, and Immunity. The candidate is expected to have extramural grant funding within a year and also publish in the field of immunology. Candidates with experience in mitochondrial functional assays, telomere analysis, and intracellular pathway research are preferred and encouraged to apply. Experience working with human biospecimens is highly desired.
