Architectural Historian / Project Manager – Mid LevelBrockington and Associates is seeking a mid-level field architectural historian and project manager based in our

• Minimum education
• :

MA/MHP/MS

in architectural history, historic preservation, history, archaeology, or a closely related field.

• Minimum experience:
• Two to four years of experience managing architectural history field projects.

You must have the ability to:

Conduct fieldwork – including historic resource surveys and evaluations;Prepare National Register nominations;Conduct archival research using primary and secondary resources;Lead complex projects involving multidisciplinary project teams;Effectively discuss projects with colleagues, clients, and review agencies;Prepare and manage budgets and schedules; andWrite professional technical reports and publications.

• Frequent out-of-town travel, physical labor, and time spent in outdoor conditions are requirements of this job.
• You should have an applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and a working familiarity of other environmental statutes and regulations.

We are particularly interested in candidates with cross-training in archaeology and/or interest in both architectural history and archaeology. Experience with oral histories is a plus.

You must be able to work as a member of a diverse team, manage projects and people, and complete other delegated project tasks. You should possess strong communication skills, work professionally with clients and government agencies, and be able to supervise the work of others.
