Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIMTechnician with experience in Architecture and MEP projects to joinour team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing anddeveloping BIM models, primarily focusing on LOD300, while workingclosely with the MEP teams to ensure accuracy, coordination, andquality across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Developdetailed BIM models up to LOD300 for architectural and MEPdisciplines. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and otherstakeholders to ensure models align with project specifications andrequirements. Create and manage BIM content, including parametricfamilies, systems, and schedules. Perform clash detection andcoordinate with various teams to resolve conflicts within themodels. Assist in the preparation of construction drawings, 3Dvisualizations, and shop drawings from BIM models. Maintainaccurate and updated models throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in project coordination meetings and ensure that theBIM models are compliant with project standards and company BIMExecution Plans. Provide technical support for BIM-related software(Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.). Assist in integrating pointcloud data or existing conditions into the model when required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a BIMTechnician, specifically in Architecture and MEP projects. Expertknowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk RevitArchitecture and related Building Information Modeling softwareStrong understanding of architectural and MEP systems, andexperience working with both disciplines in a BIM environment.
Experience developing LOD300 models with attention to detail andaccuracy. Familiarity with clash detection processes andcoordination between different project teams. Knowledge of BIMstandards and best practices. Ability to interpret constructiondocuments and specifications. Strong communication skills and theability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working onlarge-scale infrastructure or complex projects. Experience withpoint cloud data and converting scans into BIM models. Knowledge ofadditional software such as Dynamo, Rhino, or Grasshopper is aplus.
Salary:
$60K-$75
