An large specialty crop operation in the Northwest region ofPennsylvania is looking to add a hands-on agronomist to their teamto help support field operations, crop planning, and sustainableproduction practices. Entry-Level Agronomists encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the development and execution oforganic cropping plans, including potatoes and other specialtycrops Provide daily agronomic support during planting, cultivation,scouting, fertility, and harvest phases Collect and interpret soiland tissue sample data; make nutrient recommendations based onfindings Support integrated pest management strategies aligned withorganic certification standards Maintain and troubleshoot farmequipment and machinery; coordinate basic repairs Communicateagronomic updates and recommendations with team members andmanagement Contribute to field trials, data collection, andcontinuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’sdegree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Horticulture, or related field ORequivalent hands-on experience in production agricultureDemonstrated interest in organic farming and specialty cropproduction (potato experience is a plus) Mechanical aptitude;experience operating and maintaining farm equipment Strongobservational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn andadapt in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Attributes:

Prior experience in organic systems, especially potato productionExperience with field scouting, crop planning, and harvestoperations Background in basic mechanical repair and equipmentmaintenance
