QUESTIONS
Class Summary Job Description The position is responsible for performing grease trap inspections, prepare and process the associated paperwork and data entry. The position requires the ability to operate a county vehicle daily and use hand-held equipment to perform their functions. They will interface with other teams within DWR as well as other county departments to perform several required tasks. Additionally, they will interact directly with customers, educating them on the proper use, maintenance, testing, and function of their grease traps/interceptors. Grade
The grade for this position is B22(2). Salary will be per policy based on education and experience. Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, Environmental Science or a closely related field;
Two years of construction experience; or,
an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience
Laboratory experience;
Code enforcement experience;
Experience with industrial, ground, or surface water monitoring;
Experience performing automatic sampling, and/or monitoring and inspecting of industries and/or food service establishments.
