What You’ll Do:

Lead by example in the daily care of aquatic animals Support, train, and guide team members with compassion and consistency Oversee habitat maintenance and collaborate with Life Support Systems team Monitor animal health and behavior, and coordinate care with veterinary staff Help create engaging habitats that connect guests to with wildlife and conservation Ensure our workspaces stay safe, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices Collaborate across departments to support education, volunteer, and guest programs. Participate in daily dive operations Keep clear, accurate records on animal health, system checks, and water quality

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of hands-on animal husbandry experience Strong background in both freshwater and marine systems Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred Degree in Marine Biology, Zoology, or related field – or equivalent work experience Open Water SCUBA certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Rescue Diver, First Aid/CPR/AED/O2 certification preferred Experience working in a public aquarium setting strongly preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office and electronic record systems
