The HEVAdepartment gathers a wealth of expertise including experts inHealth Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Indirect TreatmentComparison & Network Meta Analysis (ITC/NMA), Modelling, HealthTechnology Assessment (HTA), epidemiology, biostatistics andgeneration of real word evidence (RWE). Within HEVA N&I, youwill join a team of business partners, all responsible for HEVAprojects across various molecules and indications. Main Responsibilities:
  • This role willlead Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) activities forRespiratory indications within the Immunology portfolio and covermultiple assets.
  • This role will be responsible for the design andexecution of HEOR research in the forms of economic modelling,database analysis, observational research, Clinical OutcomesAssessment (COA) development and validation, systematic literaturereview, evidence synthesis, value dossier development and othertypes of HEOR work
  • This role will set the HEOR evidencegeneration priorities for the respiratory portfolio and incorporatethem into broader Sanofi planning documents such as the integratedevidence generation plan (IEGP).
  • This role will operate as partof a multi-functional global development team that is responsiblefor designing clinical research programs to meet the evidentiarystandards of regulators, HTA organizations, reimbursementauthorities, third-party payers and other organizations that reviewevidence relevant to Sanofi medicines. About You

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in health economics, outcomesresearch, or a related field.

  • Soft skills:
  • Strong communicationskills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills
  • Significant experience making presentations to senior management ispreferred
  • Publication in peer-reviewed journals
  • Strong abilityto partner with HEVA colleagues and other (i.e. non-HEOR)functional areas
  • Entrepreneurial, team spirit and ability todevelop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Technical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in applying various HEOR methods.

Understanding the principles of evidence-based medicine andclinical research

  • US HEOR experience required
  • Knowledge ofglobal HTA processes and guidelines
  • Respiratory experiencerequired
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment ofthe pharmaceutical industry, demonstrated integrity on work-relatedcompliance considerations and solid ethics
  • Education:

    Advanceddegree (PhD, MD, MS, MPH, or PharmD) in a scientific discipline

  • Languages:
