The Boeing Company is seeking a highly skilledPrincipal Workforce Economist to serve as a critical leader andintegrator in market intelligence, strategic analysis, andworkforce strategy development. This role can be based in Seattle,WA, Everett, WA, Renton, WA, North Charleston, SC or Berkeley, MO.This position plays a pivotal role in shaping organizationalstrategy and driving data-driven decision-making to meet the needsof our business.

The successful candidate will: Serve as a leader and integrator in Market Intelligence andStrategic Analysis Provide insights and expertise across business unitscollaborating with executive and senior leadership on workforcestrategies, business case results, and recommendations Be recognized as an expert in labor market trends, practices,competitor analysis, and industry benchmarks Develop innovative approaches for strategic analysis to addressworkforce challenges

Position Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze global, regional, and local labor markettrends, including employment rates, talent supply-demand, andindustry benchmarks Assess the impact of economic policies, trade agreements, andgeopolitical factors on workforce availability and costs Forecast workforce needs based on business growth, productioncycles, and industry trends Develop predictive models to address labor shortages, turnoverrates, and skill gaps Assess current workforce policies and other talent strategiesagainst business strategic workforce plans, recommendingimprovements to enhance competitive positioning Design and maintain workforce and labor cost models to drivedata-driven decision-making Leverage data analytics to identify trends, inform strategy,and evaluate workforce-related initiatives Provide thought leadership and expertise in workforce economicsto inform cross-functional teams Share insights and generalize learnings to solve new challengesacross the organizationBasic -Qualifications (RequiredSkills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, ormarket analysis 5+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HRinitiatives with senior leaders 5+ years of experience translating data into actionableinsights and recommendations 3+ years of experience with modeling data (ex: developingpredictive models, regression analysis, decision trees, or otherapproaches)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Advanced degree in Economics, Workforce Planning, BusinessAnalytics, or a related field Experience and understanding of economic policies, markettrends, and industry benchmarks Expertise in economic modeling, data analytics, and predictiveanalysis

Pay is based upon candidateexperience and qualifications, as well as market and businessconsiderations.

Summary pay range: $170,000 – $246,100Applicationsfor this position will be accepted until Mar. 10, 2025
