Position Overview :

We are looking for a motivated Intelligence Analyst to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Laboratory Intelligence Unit (LIU). This mid-level position plays a critical role in supporting forensic intelligence operations, conducting data analysis, and contributing to national security and criminal investigations through timely and accurate intelligence production.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct operational and tactical analysis of intelligence data to support FBI and USIC investigations. Exploit raw data from forensic and technical sources to identify potential leads and threat indicators. Produce written intelligence products such as tactical summaries, situation reports, and intelligence briefs. Assist in fulfilling Requests for Information (RFIs) from internal FBI components and external government partners. Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams of analysts, scientists, and law enforcement professionals. Participate in regular briefings, kickoff meetings, and contribute to monthly performance and financial reports. Maintain compliance with FBI policies and information security standards.

Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship and active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 3 years of intelligence analysis experience within the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC), with demonstrated experience producing raw and/or tactical intelligence products. At least 2 years of writing, editing, or publishing experience (e.g., intelligence reports, articles, print material). Experience with intelligence collection requirements, analytical tools, and dissemination protocols. Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record working collaboratively in team environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a minimum of 5 years’ usage.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior military, law enforcement, or other federal government/non-USIC experience. Academic background in a technical or scientific discipline. Familiarity with FBI or TEDAC (Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center) operations is a plus.
