Cyber Defense Analyst Instructor Key Role:
Develop and deliver a variety of training programs to live audiences. Provide stand-up classroom instruction. Apply specific functional and working general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, as needed. Work independently with some guidance. Additional Information Help for Additional Information. Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with defensive cyber operations
- Knowledge of counter-measure analysis, including identifying malicious activity and intrusion set activities
- Knowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures for intrusion set activities
- Knowledge of defense host analysis or defensive network analysis
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risks and warning analysis
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain IAT II certification within 90 days of hire date
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of encryption technologies, topologies, phishing techniques, Wireshark, and Snort
- Knowledge of Industry Standard Professional Certification programs
- Knowledge of computer security concepts and best practices, and information and cybersecurity operation, governance, assurance, and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certification Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
