Fixed Wing acquisition efforts within

SOCOM J2/JICSOC

. This role is focused on identifying foreign threat vulnerabilities to emerging U.S. aviation technologies—helping shape and safeguard the next generation of Special Operations capabilities. This is a highly visible, in-person role working side-by-side with acquisition and intelligence leaders at MacDill AFB. Key Responsibilities Perform all-source research and analysis on foreign capabilities and technologies relevant to SOF aviation programs. Assess threats to U.S. systems under development and provide risk-based intelligence to acquisition teams. Prepare and deliver decision-ready products, briefings, and written assessments to government stakeholders. Collaborate with SOCOM J2 and program offices to ensure intelligence is fully integrated into acquisition strategy. Maintain strict adherence to classification protocols and operational security guidelines. Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Minimum 5 years of experience in intelligence analysis, ideally in support of defense acquisition, foreign materiel exploitation, or technology threat assessments. Background in supporting SOF, JICSOC, or other SOCOM components strongly preferred. Proven ability to produce high-impact analytic products and present findings to senior audiences.
