Fort Bragg, NC Description:
The Intelligence Analyst will provide comprehensive support to the Army Reserve G-2 in the Army intelligence community by collaborating and contributing to policy development across various intelligence functional areas. This role involves conducting research, analysis, and coordinating with other sections within Army Reserve, MIRC, INSCOM, and elements at HQDA or USD(I). The Intelligence Analyst will address Reserve Intelligence Operations authorities, Reserve linguist recruiting and accession challenges, and Reserve HUMINT programs. Additionally, the analyst will handle multiple OUSD(I) RFIs related to USAR processes and procedures, ensure proper distribution of required languages coded to MI positions, support the Insider Threat Program, and provide CI support to screening initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to support Army Reserve G-2 initiatives. Gather and synthesize data from multiple sources to inform policy contributions. Collaborate with various sections within Army Reserve, MIRC, INSCOM, and
HQDA/ USD
(I). Ensure effective communication and coordination across all involved entities. Inform and contribute to policy development for the Army intelligence community. Provide insights and recommendations based on research and analysis. Address and support Reserve Intelligence Operations authorities. Ensure compliance with established protocols and standards. Assist in addressing recruiting and accession challenges for Reserve linguists. Develop strategies to enhance linguist recruitment and retention. Provide support to Reserve HUMINT programs. Ensure programs are effectively managed and aligned with intelligence goals. Manage and respond to multiple OUSD(I) Requests for Information (RFIs) related to USAR processes and procedures. Ensure timely and accurate responses to RFIs. Ensure proper distribution of required languages coded to Military Intelligence (MI) positions. Maintain accurate records and update language requirements as needed. Support the Insider Threat Program by providing necessary research and analysis. Implement measures to mitigate insider threats within the intelligence community. Provide Counterintelligence (CI) support to screening initiatives. Ensure thorough and effective screening processes. Coordinate and conduct research for various intelligence disciplines, including: Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Counterintelligence (CI) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) All Source analysis Maintain detailed documentation of research, analysis, and policy contributions. Prepare and submit regular reports to AR G-2 and relevant stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to intelligence operations and policy contributions. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance overall effectiveness.
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, National Security, Political Science, or related field. Military training and experience can be substituted for a degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience in intelligence analysis. Strong knowledge of intelligence collection and analysis techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to produce clear and concise intelligence reports. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Desired:
Advanced degree in Intelligence Studies, National Security, Political Science, or related field. Experience working with military intelligence systems and databases. Certifications from recognized intelligence training institutions such as the Joint Military Intelligence Training Center (JMITC) or similar. Proven skills in leadership, management, and team building.
