Challenging Projects:
As an Operational Intelligence Engineer at JCTM, you will lead the design and enhancement of data-driven operational networks that support USMC Aviation and joint-force operations. You will architect and refine intelligence frameworks that integrate C2 systems, targeting platforms, and open-source data to deliver rapid and accurate situational awareness across domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design:
Integrate targeting systems with primary C2 platforms in coordination with Joint Interface Control Officers.
Understand data requirements and flows across C2 systems, third-party platforms, and OSINT sources.
Use advanced analytics to detect patterns and anomalies; build and manage databases that enable easy access to intelligence.
Reporting and Presentation:
Createprehensive reports, dashboards, and briefings for leadership and operations teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure intelligence architectures meet specific mission needs.
Distillplex intelligence insights into actionable summaries for stakeholders at all levels.
Operational Support and Optimization:
Provide strategic rmendations for operational planning using real-time network architecture data.
Identify opportunities to enhance targeting and intelligence processes via performance metrics and KPIs.
Continuously assess and optimize mission-critical data flows and network utilization.
Risk Mitigation:
Monitor targeting and C2 networks for emerging threats and security gaps.
Perform vulnerability assessments and rmend mitigations in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
Implement proactive defense strategies to protect personnel, platforms, and digital assets.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Research and apply emerging technologies to operational intelligence and kill chain design.
Lead innovation efforts in building adaptable and resilient networks.
Mentor team members on intelligence integration tools, methodologies, and systems engineering principles.
State-of-the-Art Technology:
You will leverage industry-leading C2 systems, intelligence analytics platforms, and secure targeting environments to optimize data pipelines and battlefield awareness in real time.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with joint targeting processes, C3 systems, data analytics frameworks, and advanced mission planning tools while working alongside seasoned experts.

You Have:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 15+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s in a STEM field with 7+ years.
Proven experience in C2 operations, preferably within USMC Aviation Wing-level or federal environments.
Deep knowledge of targeting systems and network architectures.
Proficiency in data analysis techniques, reporting, and visualization.
Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills.
Strong interpersonalmunication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with operational network regulations,pliance standards, and mission security protocols.
Graduation from the Aviation C3 Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course.
Command and Control Duty Officer qualification.
Nice to
Haves:
Hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN) or tactical data link (TDL) protocols.
Certifications in systems engineering, intelligence architecture, or operational analysis (e.g., INCOSE, DAWIA).
Background in integrating emerging technologies like AI/ML into intelligence processes.
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
