requirements, as directed by the IOSC Program Manager Assist in the development and maintenance of IOSC policy and procedures Acts as designee for the IOSC Manager, to include reporting to NNSA, senior leadership and other applicable parties Ensure evidence, to include forensic and digital evidence, is properly protected and maintained in accordance with company directives and DOE Orders Develop new and/or maintain existing IOSC related databases Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, biennial, or annual reports as directed, in addition to metrics and reports, as required Assist in developing corrective action plans and/or closing corrective actions Coordinate and oversee resolution of contaminated computing resources and computer/network associated incidents of security concern As assigned, may perform computer clean up and forensics activities as it relates to IOSC inquiries using specialized software and computer tools Participate in an on-call rotation, being available to respond at all hours, day and night Be able to make disposition recommendations to management and execute agreed strategies to prevent recurrence of incidents At the manager’s discretion, participate in specialized investigative roles as a designee Provide guidance and direction to Company stakeholders and the Y-12 Field Office for issues regarding the identification, reporting of IOSCs and 10 CFR 824 events and conditions What You Can Expect Meaningful work and unique opportunities to support missions vital to national and global security Top-notch, dedicated colleagues Generous pay and benefits with a stable organization Career advancement and professional development programs Work-life balance fostered through flexible work options and wellness initiatives Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with a minimum of six years of relevant experience OR PhD with a minimum of three years of relevant experience OR Fifteen or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting Ability to respond to incidents on a 24/7 basis, as part of the on-call rotation Preferred Job Requirements 10 years or more of investigative experience, to include, conducting interview/interrogation, in-field investigation, management of an investigative case-load, event scene protection/management, evidence collection/preservation, and case presentation Requires broad knowledge of investigative techniques, to include, interviewing, case management, scene preservation, digital forensics, etc Training and experience in digital forensics investigations, to include, experience in the use of specialized forensic examination tools (e.g., Cellebrite) and experience leading sanitization efforts for classified spillage events Possess a demonstrated success in organizational management and the ability to lead and conduct extensive and detailed inquiries of varying complexity Have experience participating in incident command and response events Completed National Training Center’s PMC-310, Incidents of Security Concern Fundamentals, and be approved in writing as an Inquiry Official by the Officially Designated Federal Security Authority Have experience as an authorized Inquiry Official Must be well versed in the legal issues associated with conducting inquiries into incidents of security concern (IOSC) Have a thorough knowledge of DOE Orders associated with the Safeguards and Security Program to include, but not limited to, DOE O 473.2A, Protective Force Operations ; DOE O 473.1A, Physical Protection Program ; DOE O 471.6, Information Security ; DOE O 472.2A, Personnel Security ; DOE O 474.2A, Nuclear Material Control & Accountability ; DOE O 470.1A, Incidents of Security Concern ; and

DOE O 470.5A

Insider Threat Program Working knowledge of information security concepts, accident reconstruction, and damage assessments Experience testifying in court proceedings. This position may be categorized as a “designated position” identified by 10 C.F.R.
