Administrative Support Specialist Ironstone Surveying / Ironstone Consulting & Design Jackson, GA 30233 We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team and provide critical support to our land surveying department. This role focuses heavily on conducting property research and organizing information needed for surveys, while also managing general office and administrative responsibilities. An ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable with online research (especially county and GIS websites), and able to support a busy, fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed research on deeds, plats, legal descriptions, and property data through county GIS and public record websites Assist with the preparation of project folders by compiling necessary research documentation for surveyors and CAD staff Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and direct calls appropriately Create and maintain job files Support document scanning, filing, and data entry tasks Order and maintain office and field supplies inventory Ensure office cleanliness and organization through light daily upkeep
Qualifications:
Prior administrative experience required (3+ years preferred) Experience or familiarity with land surveying, real estate, or construction a plus Comfortable navigating online property databases, GIS platforms, and county websites Strong attention to detail and organization skills Excellent written and verbal communication Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Preferred Skills:
