Remote Overview :

Columbia-Greene Addiction Coalition Inc. (CGAC) is seeking a part-time, contracted Data Coordinator to support the development of data-driven, culturally responsive, and sustainable environmental prevention strategies focused on reducing opioid misuse and increasing harm reduction readiness in vulnerable communities across Greene County. This role is funded through

NYS OASAS

under the FORx Prevention Grant (Opioid Settlement Funds) for the remaining funding period of the 2024-2028 grant cycle. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in various software tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and coalition members. This position is remote, however there may be opportunities in which you will be asked to attend a meeting or event in-person, therefore, reliable transportation is required. Responsibilities Review and analyze grant contracts to ensure compliance with data collection requirements and timeline of deliverables. Coordinate additional collection and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative data for completion of the following required products: Tri-Ethnic Community Readiness Assessment Community Needs Assessment Capacity Building Plan Strategic Plan Logic Models Support data collection efforts such as community/school prevention surveys, focus groups and key stakeholder interviews Assist with the evaluation of environmental prevention strategies and measure processes and outcomes. Ensure all data and evaluation activities are culturally sensitive and accessible. Identify and bridge barriers (cultural, racial, institutional, gender, age-related) in communication and methodology. Qualifications Education (Required/Preferred): Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in a related field such as: Technological Sciences (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering) Biomedical Sciences (e.g., Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacology, Physiology, Medicine) OR Equivalent experience in needs assessments, evaluation planning, logic models, or data collection and analysis. Skills Strong data management, processing, evaluation and analysis skills. Familiarity with program evaluation and environmental prevention strategies. Experience using project management platforms, excel, survey monkey or other platforms deemed necessary for data collection and tracking purposes. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote based setting. Person with lived experience or in recovery and those residing within Columbia and Greene, with knowledge of the area encouraged to apply. Access to reliable transportation and a valid state-issued driver’s license.

Terms Contract Amount:

$30-50 per hour based education/experience and subject knowledge

Contract Term:

Grand funding period is 2024-2028

Hours:

About 20 hours per month, flexible schedule, meetings are held during working hours (9-5p)
