Role:
The Land Use & Development Planner will play a key role in navigating clients through zoning, permitting, and land development processes. You’ll work on a wide variety of projects, collaborating with attorneys, architects, engineers, and municipal boards to secure entitlements and support real estate development.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze land use, zoning, and development regulations to assess development potential. Prepare and submit entitlement applications including Site Plans, Rezonings, Conditional Uses, Variances, and more. Assist attorneys in public and administrative hearings before municipal and county boards. Draft formal opinions on land viability and compliance for client use. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders, public agencies, and the community.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in land use planning or development. Strong experience in public engagement and consensus-building. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated project and consultant management skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe tools. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
