Our firm provides a broad scope of design and consulting services. Implementation of designs for the private and public sectors including institutional, public, commercial, transportation, equestrian, parks and recreation, resorts and residential developments can be found throughout South Florida. Responsibilities Interprets and applies applicable state, county and local codes, ordinances and regulations to codes to Site Plan and Land Development Entitlement Applications. Works alongside landscape architects and site planners to develop plans conforming to land development regulations. Holds in-depth knowledge of Palm Beach County municipalities and South Florida codes, ordinances and procedures pertaining to Planning and Zoning petitions. Initiates actions necessary to resolve site planning issues. Prepares presentation materials and presents at Public Hearing meetings. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning is required. Five (5) years of experience in Land Planning and Zoning or related field. Ability to work with Landscape Architects and other consultants as well as government staff. Excellent writing, editing, research, communication, critical thinking and presentation skills are required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively with others.
