• Friday (8a
• 5p) $20-22 an hour Key Responsibilities
• Optimize daily load planning using the Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Plan and coordinate company transportation services to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.
• Use independent judgment and network tools to allocate trucks, assign loads, and adjust plans based on area needs and capacity.
• Understand assigned market dynamics to proactively plan for load acceptance and meet customer service requirements.
• Own the successful dispatch and follow-through of planned loads within the assigned area.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage customer trailer pools and execute network-wide strategic plans.
• Communicate any changes, delays, or cancellations in pickups or deliveries to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and validate driver hours for safe, legal load planning.
• Maintain professional, timely, and effective communication with internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).

Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with the transportation industry is preferred.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across departments.

Training & Knowledge Transfer:

Capable of training others and sharing expertise clearly.

Problem-Solving:

Able to think critically, exercise independent judgment, and perform well under pressure.

Detail:

Highly detail-oriented with strong keyboard and computer skills.

Language Proficiency:

Fluent in spoken and written English. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Experience:

No prior experience in load planning or supply chain required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
