Training Schedule:

1-2 weeks onsite between 8am-5pm

EST Work Schedules:

Between 7am-6pm Monday – Friday (flexible schedule), once trained hybrid schedule opportunity Load Planner Responsibilities Plans freight for customers, understanding the customer needs and urgency in order to plan the loads most cost effectively. Determines whether to use ground schedule or expedite. Optimizes transportation costs via transportation management, using the bulk plan perimeters in place for each vendor. Addresses all concerns and issues while load is enroute; approves or denies any accessorial charge requests, such as out of route miles, unloading fees, etc. Plans and consolidates orders and builds into loads. Communicates with dispatchers, brokers, drivers, and customer service on a daily basis. Forwards information pertaining to the shipments, such as shipment ID numbers, PO numbers, etc. after they have been planned. Tracks and develops action plans for on-time performance and tender acceptance. Performs other related duties, as required. Load Planner Qualifications Minimum 1 year of transportation or logistics experience Minimum 2 years of expedited transportation experience Associate’s degree in Business or equivalent Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Experience successfully resolving problems Ability to work on call after hours in an emergency situation #ZR
