The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in urban planning and design, with a focus on creating functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing land use plans. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that projects meet regulatory requirements and community needs. Duties Develop comprehensive land use plans that align with zoning regulations and community goals. Utilize software tools such as Rhinoceros 3D, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit to create detailed site plans and visual representations. Conduct data analysis to assess land use patterns, environmental impacts, and transportation planning considerations. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and environmental consultants to integrate various aspects of project design. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in land planning. Experience Proficiency in Civil 3D software and 3D graphic modeling tools Familiarity with GIS applications such as ArcView for spatial analysis. Strong data analysis skills to interpret land use data effectively. Experience in transportation planning is a plus. A degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working on contract projects is advantageous.
