Job Description
Brookline seeks a Zoning Coordinator/Planner to support zoning functions and the Zoning Board of Appeals. Duties include reviewing and managing zoning applications, coordinating hearings, drafting decisions, tracking conditions of approval, and ensuring compliance with MGL Chapters 40A and 40B, and all other relevant duties. This position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply zoning regulations. Bachelor’s degree (masters preferred) and two-plus years of experience in planning, zoning, or development review required. Familiarity with Massachusetts zoning laws and permitting software preferred.
Salary range:
$39.16-$41.13/hourly, plus excellent benefits. Apply by July 8 for priority consideration.
