Employees in this role are responsible for planning, controlling and directing real estate activities such as site location and acquisition, right-of-way negotiation, building and land acquisition and disposition, space leasing, property management, and maintenance of properties to support transmission and substation development. Coordination with and/or oversight of contract land agents may be required. This position will be located in field office with significant travel requirements. Job Overview Employees in this role manage multiple land acquisition projects with multiple contracted Land Acquisition agents concurrently. The job will provide leadership to the contracted resources and act as an interface back to NEER Development, Legal, EandC and Environmental teams. This position will be located in field office with significant travel requirements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Prioritizes and directs land agents acquisition efforts
- Analyzes project needs to acquire sufficient land to develop
- Facilitates contracted resources interacting with internal departments
- Provides reports to management regarding land acquisitions
- Handles regular calls with Developers to understand evolving needs
- Performs other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications High School Grad / GED
