This is a 1099 independent contractor position, perfect for someone with experience in sign placement or similar fieldwork. Work most of Wake County plus Clayton.

JOB DETAILS

Place 50 signs per month at designated spots (e.g., intersections, highway exit ramps, near stop signs at the exits of shopping centers, etc.) in the following towns. # of signs will be in parenthesis beside each one. Must pay attention to

laws. Do not post if you see the sign. It’s fine if you post not in city limits. Highly recommend you place on Friday or Saturday. Nights are best because less traffic but that’s up to you. Month 1 (Central Western Cluster): Raleigh (25), Cary (14), Garner (5), Apex (6) Month 2 (Southern Cluster): Raleigh (21), Fuquay(6), Holly Springs (7), Clayton (4), Cary (12) Month 3 (Northwestern-Western Cluster): Raleigh (29), Wake Forest (8), Rolesville (2), Knightdale (3), Wendell (4), Apex (4) Must take a picture of each sign and record its location (e.g., crossroad or specific address) for verification. Flexible schedule – you choose when to work, as long as signs are placed by the 5th of each month.

Pay:

$4/sign, paid monthly via cash, Venmo, or check ($200 per month). You’re responsible for your own taxes and vehicle costs.

MUST HAVE

Reliable car, valid driver’s license, ability to walk short distances, and experience with sign placement or similar tasks (e.g., real estate signs, campaign signs, delivery).

Sign locations, placement guidelines, and all materials (signs, stakes, hammer tacker).

REQUIREMENTS

Local to Wake County (Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, etc.). Comfortable driving and navigating Wake and Johnston Counties. Able to follow instructions for legal sign placement and provide photo/location documentation.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Previous work placing signs, posting flyers, or similar fieldwork (e.g., “I placed 100 campaign signs in Raleigh”). Reliable and detail-oriented to ensure all signs are photographed and locations recorded.
