Job Description:
Analyze energy data, develop energy models, and create simulations to assess building performance and energy conservation measures. Work with design team to optimize district-wide performance, improve interstitial spaces, and design climate-responsive building. Provide comprehensive analysis and empirical modeling to empower the design team in making informed decisions. Prioritize efficiency levers in buildings while enhancing the human experience. Complete assigned projects with required level of quality, on schedule and on budget independently with minimal guidance from the Team Leader or Project Manager. Manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget and schedule. Provide project proposals and financial planning to successfully execute projects for the team. Mentor junior staff to complete modeling and analysis tasks. Provide guidance and quality control for complex analysis and building performance modeling. Apply knowledge of thermal comfort criteria and multitude of standards for feedback and analysis. Prepare and present analysis, reports, and other documents for internal and/or external client use. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in job offered, Architectural Designer, Environmental Designer, Building Scientist, or in a related occupation.
Annual salary:
$106,434-$131,600/yr.
