Job Description WeDriveU is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Transportation Contract Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between our organization, CARTA, and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). This role is critical to rebuilding and strengthening our relationship with MUSC, one of our most influential stakeholders, and unlocking opportunities for service expansion and growth in Charleston. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a strong understanding of transportation services, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the dedicated point of contact for MUSC, focusing on building trust and fostering a collaborative partnership. Monitor and manage day-to-day operational performance to ensure the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction are met. Proactively identify and address issues or concerns raised by MUSC stakeholders, delivering timely and effective solutions. Develop and implement strategies to strengthen relationships, improve service quality, and enhance stakeholder confidence. Collaborate with CARTA and MUSC representatives to explore opportunities for service expansion and increased revenue. Provide regular updates to WeDriveU leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities within the MUSC partnership. Negotiate and secure on-site office space at MUSC to enable seamless collaboration and accessibility. Analyze performance data, stakeholder feedback, and market trends to propose innovative solutions that enhance service delivery. Represent WeDriveU in meetings, presentations, and discussions with MUSC, CARTA, and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation, client relationship management, or a similar role. Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver measurable results. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and strategic mindset. Self-motivated and capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with teams.
