What we are looking for:

We are looking for an extremely organized, methodical, detail-oriented, and people-prone Traffic Specialist to join our Creative Services Department (CSD). Our CSD team is a key factor of IMI’s service offerings, holding internal (IMI) and external (clients and suppliers) brand identities. CSD brings visual marketing ideas to life, along with executing other digital and print creative initiatives internally and externally. Our CSD team does everything from creative ideation sessions to menu design, graphic imagery, and more! The Traffic Specialist must be deadline-driven and concise in communication. With multi-faceted marketing campaigns, information is constantly being relayed with many details being to the minute. The Traffic Specialist is the liaison between the client, production manager, and graphic designers, tracking all edits and revisions as they develop, while proofing, balancing workloads, maintaining timelines and priorities along the way.

Work Habits Duties:

Reviews daily workloads with the Production Manager, adjusting assignment priorities as needed. Ensures the appropriate design talent is assigned to the project while maintaining evenly distributed workloads amongst the designers. Assess and adjust each job schedule and overall workload as demands change. Obtains all assets needed to complete the assignment from the Account Team/Client. Make sure each designer completes the assignments by the designated milestone and/or deadlines. Acts as the mediator between all Account Management members and the creative teams. Liaises with the Account Team when client contact is required for approvals or to gather needed assets to complete the job. Maintains an accurate record of the projects, including changes and updates within the designated project management program. Contacts all department clients about the current deadline status and any issues that may need the client’s or agency’s attention. Coordinates with production on all outsourced requirements and the scheduling and delivery of those resources. Opens projects, assigns project numbers, and enters instructions in the designated project management tool. Assists with preparing project quotes based on input and direction from the client. Traffics projects with graphic designers and freelancers as needed. Designated to assist and back up the Production Manager. Performs all duties as assigned.

Education & Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field. Experience and successful working record of traffic coordination, creative project management, account coordinator, agency work, or a similar role within a creative or marketing environment. Experience working with graphic designers and freelancers. Hospitality and/or food & beverage industry experience is a plus. Has experience engaging and contributing to creative ideation sessions. Successful working record of completed high-level, high-volume project management duties. Ability to absorb, retain, and reenact processes and procedures. Highly organized with excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Highly flexible, receptive to change and feedback in a fast-paced environment. Adept at multi-tasking and handling multiple projects simultaneously. Possess a “can-do, will-do” mentality and high energy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments, establishing and maintaining professional relationships. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams). Experience with project management software; FunctionFox and flipbook experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, creative tools, and creative assets. Follow-up and Follow-through must be your mantra. Self-motivated and results driven. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
