Customer Support Role Job Description Join a dynamic team within the Transportation Operations department, where you will play a pivotal role in managing daily freight movements into and out of North American fulfillment centers. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to grow in the logistics industry, backed by the support of one of the world’s leading tech companies. Responsibilities + Coordinate between multiple parties to ensure high levels of customer service. + Provide continual, tactical communication and account management with external customers such as carriers and vendors. + Pull data from various databases using Excel, Access, SQL, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis. + Review data and reports related to appointment and arrival times, making business decisions based on findings. + Create narratives outlining weekly findings and present them in review forums. + Meet critical business needs within various time constraints, measuring and identifying activities performed. + Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and eliminate root causes of defects to drive efficiency. + Escalate problems or variances in information and data to relevant owners and teams, ensuring resolution. + Develop performance metrics to drive business results. + Scope out business and functional requirements for tech teams to enhance software systems and tools. + Quickly understand business impacts of trends and make informed decisions based on data. Essential Skills + Customer service experience with operations focus. + Strong computer and tech savvy. + Problem-solving abilities in logistics, transportation, intermodal, supply chain, freight, and dispatch. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in transportation and logistics is a plus but not required. + Customer service experience with de-escalating and problem-solving, including managing customer accounts and conflict resolution. + Analytical experience is advantageous, especially in resolving inputs from various sources. Work Environment The role requires working 100% in-office, with training hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, and the same schedule post-training. The environment is fast-paced and demands strong communication and problem-solving skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $23.00/hr.
