2025-04-13 PASDAAbout the Job Supports air service development initiatives by conducting research, analyzing data, and assisting with marketing efforts to retain existing and attract new air service to the airport, including domestic, international, general aviation, passenger, and cargo services.
Responsibilities 1. Conducts research, analyzes and interprets air traffic data, passenger statistics, and market trends to identify potential new routes and opportunities for service expansion. Creates periodic reports from air traffic, passenger, and landed weight data. Prepares presentations, reports, and business cases for airlines and airport stakeholders. Prepares responses to air service information requests from internal and external stakeholders.2. Assists in developing and implementing air service marketing strategies and promotional campaigns. Supports outreach and marketing efforts to educate and influence target audiences. 3. Monitors and sustains awareness of airport’s capacities by tracking airline schedules, fares, capacity, industry developments and master plans. Develops and maintains databases of air service statistics and prepares regular performance reports. 4. Supports relationships with airlines, tourism boards, chambers of commerce, and other community stakeholders. Assists with coordinating airline meetings, site visits, and industry conferences. Represents the airport at community and industry events. 5. Contributes to the development and implementation of air service incentive programs. 6. Maintains understanding of regulatory policies and issues affecting the airline industry. Provides recommendations on air service development policy and marketing support programs. Requirements
EDUCATION
•Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in Aviation Management, Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field. Must have a valid driver license.
EXPERIENCE
•Three (3) years of Aviation, Air Service Development, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint; experience with database and business intelligence software. Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and
ABILITIES
•Knowledgeable of Airline industry trends, economics, and route planning. Knowledge of principles of route service development for passenger and cargo services; Air carrier operating models, route structures, and alliances; Aircraft performance and airport operational capabilities; and Air transportation data collection and reporting standards. Excellent human relations skills including ability to build effective and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, and planning skills. Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills. Strong analytical and research skills with ability to interpret aviation data and make recommendations. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Willingness to travel as needed for conferences and airline meetings.
