Position Overview
The Actuarial Analyst will play a key role in the Programs Division, supporting pricing and profitability analysis across multiple lines of business including General Liability, Auto, Workers Compensation, and Property. This is an excellent opportunity for an actuarial professional looking to deepen their expertise in commercial lines pricing within a collaborative and forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain pricing models for various commercial insurance programs.
Analyze loss experience, rate adequacy, and profitability across multiple lines of business.
Collaborate with underwriting, product, and finance teams to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in the development of rate filings and regulatory support documentation.
Monitor industry trends and internal performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support actuarial reserving and forecasting efforts as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
1-3 years of actuarial experience in P&C insurance, preferably in commercial lines.
Progress toward
ACAS/FCAS
designation (at least 2-4 exams passed preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and actuarial software (e.g., R, Python, or SAS).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
