We are seeking an experienced Actuary to join our modeling team. This role focuses on actuarial modeling within the Modeling Centers of Excellence, with a primary emphasis on MG-ALFA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing actuarial models used for financial reporting, asset & liability projections, and reserves. This role requires strong technical expertise in MG-ALFA and a solid understanding of valuation concepts, particularly for stable value funds (General and Separate Account) and variable funds within the retirement space.
What you will do:
Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of MG-ALFA actuarial models to support valuation, financial reporting, and risk projections for stable value funds (GA and SA) and variable fundsEnsure models comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards (Statutory, IFRS, etc.)Perform in-depth model validation, debugging, and optimization to enhance accuracy and efficiencySupport assumption setting, scenario testing, and sensitivity analysis for financial reporting and risk managementCollaborate with valuation actuaries, finance, risk management, and IT teams to integrate models into company workflowsDocument model methodologies, changes, and assumptions to support audits and governance reviewsDrive automation and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency in actuarial modeling and reportingStay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in actuarial modeling, particularly for stable value and variable fund productsWhat you will bring:6+ years actuarial experience, preferably in modeling rolesStrong expertise in MG-ALFA, including scripting and automation; ALFA Integrate experience preferredExperience with asset and liability modelingASA designation requiredQualified to sign in the USBachelor’s degree in actuarial science or math/statistics requiredWhat will set you apart:

Base Salary Range$111,800.00
- $162,125.
00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
