Job Description
The Senior Manager, Development Reporting and Forecasting leads the strategy, execution, transformation, and continuous improvement of reports and forecasts of key Domestic Franchise Development information flows. The outputs of these reports are mission critical to enabling Inspire’s goals for Net Unit Growth and Remodels across all brands. The role is also responsible for communicating key outputs to leadership across the organization through a variety of methods, including contributing to Development presentations for Inspire executive leadership, various Brand leadership teams, and the Board of Directors. In addition to reporting, this role will be central in developing forecasting recommendations for Development KPIs throughout the year and for Inspire’s Long-Range Plan. This role is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of Development data, involving extensive collaboration with stakeholders across the Domestic Franchise Development function (incl. Construction, Real Estate, and Franchise Services) and with cross-functional stakeholders such as ICR, International Development, Finance, Legal, Data & Analytics, Development IT Team, and Brand Operations. This role will oversee and execute a wide array of reports that provide the transparency needed to ensure new site and remodel deliverables are correctly accounted for throughout key Development systems that in turn feed into various enterprise-wide systems that support business performance reporting at the highest levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Budget & Forecast Coordination:
Lead and support the Domestic Franchise Development budgeting and forecasting function (for non-financial KPIs such as restaurant openings, commitments, remodels); actual vs. budget/forecast tracking; data reconciliation and maintenance of regular ongoing monthly, quarterly, and reporting.
Reporting Transformation & Maintenance:
Lead the holistic modernization effort for Development reporting, including designing, building, maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualization (in partnership with the Development IT Team) to effectively communicate insights and prioritization to stakeholders, in support of upcoming sites, new restaurant openings, qualification, closures, remodels and other related Development processes
Long Range Planning:
Support and lead Development Long Range Planning (LRP) activities, including new restaurant pipeline and the Restaurant Optimization Process (ROP) for existing assets, including data reconciliation.
Decision and Data Quality Support:
Make informed, independent judgments based on data quality and viability of information.
High-Level Communication:
Support the creation of executive-level presentations with accurate and reliable data. Prepare and present findings, commentary, and recommendations to senior leadership as required
People Leadership:
Manage and mentor a small team of specialists and/or analysts with a variety of reporting, reconciliation, and administrative support functions
Change Management:
Lead the training and communication related to development reporting and associated dashboards, tools, and processes
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Required Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin., Finance, Data Science, Analytics, or similar
Preferred:
Master’s in Business/Finance/Accounting, Development, Real Estate, or Construction
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Required Minimum:
1-2 years’ experience with Franchise Development-related reporting, forecasting, analytics, and/or financial management, including fluency with Net Unit Growth-related metrics 3+ years’ experience with a Retail or Restaurant chain franchisor
Preferred:
Candidates with 1+ years’ experience at Inspire Brands

Expert MS skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
