We are seeking ahighly skilled and experienced Director of Analytics to lead ourEpic Reporting initiatives. This role will be responsible foroverseeing the development, implementation, and management of EpicReporting systems to ensure accurate and timely data reportingacross the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strongbackground in data analytics, Epic systems, and leadership. Idealcandidates will be able to successfully navigate theseresponsibilities: Experience developing strategies to leverage Epic Analyticsplatform and tools to enhance self-service and to effectivelyincrease adoption across the enterprise Stay abreast of Epic Roadmap and drive timely implementation ofnew and innovative functionality to the benefit of theorganization Keep the Epic Reporting content consistent and current withenterprise data definitions in conjunction with broader datagovernance Build strong connections with the user base to advocate andpromote the use of Epic Analytics Assets Focus on timely implementation of projects and initiatives aswell as resolution of issues through partnering with EpicApplications team, Data Analytics team, and other technicalresources Recruit, lead, grow, and retain top talent on theteamEducationRequired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, PublicHealth, Business or related fieldPreferred
  • Masters or PhD inhealthcare, statistics, mathematics, data science, public health orrelated fieldWork ExperienceRequired
  • 8 years related workexperience.

Preferred

  • 10+ related work experience with at least 6years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities(KSAs) Experience in building and managing highly competent andtalented analytic teams Experience working with analytics in the payor/insurance space(fraud, epidemiology/care management, actuarial, marketing/consumerdynamics, or financial) or provider/clinical space (Pharma, healthsystem) Experience with healthcare claims data and/or clinical datafrom electronic medical information systems Experience managing large data sets and using quantitative andqualitative analysis to draw meaningful and valid insights Experience using SQL, SAS/Python/R; Strong understanding of R,Python, or SAS; Strong understanding of TSQL or PL/SQL; Strong understanding ofdifferent database environments including cloud-based ones (AWS,Azure) Experience with modern visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI,Cognos) and/or other data analysis tools. Strong communication skills (both oral and written); Must beable to present results to senior leadership, internal and externalstakeholders Excellent organizational, motivational and interpersonalskills, capable of interfacing well at multiple levels within alarge organization. Outstanding analytic and modeling skills, proficient atconceptualizing, implementing, and evaluating highly accurate andscalable analytics solutions to business problems. Knowledge of health-related analytics concepts such as riskstratification, episode groupers, and benchmarks Professional and positive approach in building relationshipsand quickly gain credibility with senior executives.

Job Duties Leveraging extensive, deep analytical knowledge and teamleadership skills to drive the development of analytical solutionsto meet the customer needs. Work and communicate with customer regularly and understandtheir ask/vision/goals Work with the customers on the prioritization regularly andorganize the analytics throughput needed to meet thedemands/needs Leading a multi-disciplinary team to develop analytics,including tableau development, report development, and overallprioritization process Function as a senior level coach and mentor to analysts; ensurequality results across the team while scaling our analyticsfunctionality Leading the initiatives involving exploration and analysis ofdata across a variety of data platforms. Champion the execution ofanalysis to address specific clinical/business problems determinedby consultation with various stakeholders across theorganization. Develop sophisticated data products (visualizations, insightsetc.) for business users. Challenge conventional thinking and traditional ways ofoperating as you work with stakeholders to identify and improve thestatus quo. Partnering with peers to identify gaps, improve quality, andshare techniques and learnings. Serve as the subject matter expert in analytics, populationhealth, claims data, and overall analytics experience Act as a subject matter expert in analytics and bring best inclass, innovative ideas to test and measure performance and impactprogramsThe above statements describe the general nature and levelof work only.
