OverviewThis role is an addition to Crosslake’steam of practitioners serving our clients with their investmentsand acquisitions. The objective of this role is to enhance ouranalytical capabilities and enrich our deliverables with quantifiedevidence of financial and operating performance. This role isintended to become an integral part of our teams working clientengagements and interact extensively with various Crosslake teamsand clients.
Role responsibilities
Business and Financial Analytics:
Analysis of P&L and otherfinancial statements to evaluate Companies spend on R D, hosting, labor Revenue composition and trends, and margin trends
Organizational Analytics:
Analyze org structure and census toprofile the organization by roles, geo footprint, compensation,tenure, attrition Operational analytics: Analyze key performance indicators andmetrics related to key processes for a software/tech company – suchas product development predictability, productivity, quality Perform relevant benchmarking for categories above Participate in sessions with clients to request the necessarydata and conduct necessary interviews Develop presentations depicting the analysis results Collaborate with other team members to integrate the analysisinto the overall deliverables Identify and design new value-added types of quantifiedanalytics relevant to Crosslake’s core services Identify and develop new sources for benchmarking Collaborate with project Leads and Managing Directors onscoping and estimating the more complicated/bespoke analyticalscenarios Oversee and coordinate practitioners’ assignment toprojects Act as a “safety” net for issues resolution Participate in the recruiting process for new teammembersRequirements Expert level Excel capabilities Strong Analytical mindset Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and makedata-driven decisions. Comfortable presenting data and insights in a clear, structuredway for different audiences. The ability to build Powerpoint charts/stories to technical andnon-technical audiences Understanding of software industry and financials andoperations of a software company Understanding of Mergers & Acquisitions process (Preferred butnot required) A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field 8+ years of experience with software/tech company (finance,operations or R D functions) or consulting firm Team management experience Ability to design and operationalize new services #J-18808-Ljbffr
