Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Data Analytics Senior Consultant / Manager to lead data-driven initiatives across departments. This role involves interpreting complex datasets, delivering actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and a consulting background, preferably in financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ETL operations to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Cleanse, validate, and preprocess structured and unstructured data for analysis.
Develop and execute queries and scripts using SQL, Python, or other relevant tools.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Support predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis in partnership with Data Scientists.
Monitor data quality and proactively identify anomalies or discrepancies.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data workflows.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics).
5+ years of experience in data analysis using Python and SQL.
5+ years of experience in data visualization using Power BI.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
Understanding of machine learning techniques and tools.
Experience in financial services industry.
Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills for translating technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience leading data-related projects and teams.
Consulting background with experience at Big 4 firms or Accenture.
Experience supporting software engineering, data engineering, or analytics projects.
