Job Description

Director, AI Delivery & Execution
Our direct client is looking to hire a senior technologist to join their team. They need a leader to drive the shift from current business processes to AI-enabled solutions. This person will own AI execution prioritize the right problems, manage risk, and deliver measurable results. This role will bridge the gap between business and technology by working across teams to identify where AI makes sense, map out the solutions, get the data ready, manage risks, and drive delivery. Success also means assessing capability gaps and developing resource plans to scale our AI efforts. What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate combines business insight with technical fluency and brings the following skills: Strong business acumen: Map business needs and pain points to AI enabled solutions.

AI fluency:

Understand how AI works data, models, operational limits, and risks. Identify right tool for right use case Data readiness expertise: Know how to get data into AI ready shape Resource planning skills: Identify gaps and recommend right mix of new hires, contractors, or partners Bias for action: Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution Strong collaboration skills: Partner effectively across business, tech, and external teams to drive outcomes Risk management mindset: Guide responsible AI use and identify risks early Strong communication and presentation skills: Articulate strategy, gain alignment, and drive stakeholder buy-in. Qualifications & Experience
7+ years of experience in process engineering, business transformation, or cross-functional delivery roles, with at least the past 2 years focused specifically on designing and implementing AI-powered solutions Proven track record of executing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with measurable outcomes Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, data pipelines, and enterprise technology environments Experience partnering with technical and non-technical teams to translate business needs into technical solutions Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including bias mitigation, model transparency, and risk management Experience building or managing cross-functional teams, including internal staff and third-party vendors Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, analytics, computer science, or a related field preferred This position is located in the company’s headquarters near Norwalk, CT. Relocation package is available if needed. Position is on-site, typically 3-4 days a week in the office, flexibility to work from home when needed. Senior team and IT leadership and business teams are in the office at least part of the week, for effective collaboration.
