Sr. Data Scientist Generative AI Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist with expertisein Generative AI to join our team. This role will report to theDirector, Artificial Intelligence and based out of PRGX’s Atlantaoffice. In this role, you will be responsible for designing,developing, and implementing cutting-edge generative models,driving innovation, and providing technical leadership to a team ofdata scientists. You will work closely with cross-functional teams,including engineers, product managers, and researchers, to identifyopportunities, design solutions, and deliver high-impact projectsthat leverage Generative AI technologies.

JOB DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and deploy generative AI modelsfor various applications with a focus on text generation andsematic entity extraction.

• Collaborate with stakeholders toidentify business needs, define project scopes, and establishdata-driven solutions.
• Mentor junior data scientists/interns,providing guidance on best practices and industry standards.
• Stayup to date with the latest research and advancements in GenerativeAI and related fields.
• Collaborate with other teams, such asengineering and product management, to integrate models intoproduction environments.
• Establish and maintain documentation formodels, algorithms, and processes.
• Ensure all projects meetquality, performance, and security standards.
• Communicate complexconcepts and findings effectively to both technical andnon-technical audiences.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics,Mathematics, or a related field required.

• Ph.D preferred. Provenexperience (3-5 years) as a Data Scientist or Machine LearningEngineer, with experience in deploying Generative AI basedsolutions in production.
• Experience working on cutting-edgetechnologies to solve problems using Retrieval Augmented Generation(RAG), Fine tuning LLMs, Prompt tuning, Graph RAGs, Knowledgegraphs, etc.
• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning,and probabilistic modeling.
• Proficiency in modern data sciencetools and frameworks, such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, JAX,Scikit-learn, and Keras.
• Experience designing and implementinglarge-scale data pipelines and processing systems.
• Experienceworking with server-side frameworks like FastAPI as well as APIdevelopment, documentation, and versioning.
• Familiarity with cloudplatforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD tools (Jenkins) andcontainerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strongprogramming skills in Python and experience working with versioncontrol systems (Git).
• Excellent communication and teamworkskills.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues and interns.
