We’re currently working with a major company in the Network Operations industry that is looking for a high level Data Science Engineer to join their team. They offer their users tools to manage network traffic for high traffic systems and dashboards to assist with visualizing any network bottlenecks. For this role, they’re looking for a strong Data Science Engineer that is experienced with LLMs and how to effectively integrate them into RAG systems. This role will be fully onsite (5 days/week) in their Portsmouth, NH, office.
This is a great opportunity to work on GenAI projects within a large company with massive amounts of data at your disposal. They’re also offering alot of equity for this position in addition to the interesting projects. Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience working in machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) with a focus on large language models (LLMs).
Expertise in LLM architectures and frameworks such as GPT, BERT, T5, RoBERTa, or similar.
Proven expertise working with unstructured data and data augmentation
Proficiency in Python and popular machine learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers).
Solid experience with model training and fine-tuning LLMs, including large-scale datasets and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Hands-on experience deploying AI models to production environments and managing model lifecycle in real-time systems.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform) and distributed computing to scale model training and deployment.
Proven experience with model evaluation, debugging, performance optimization, and ensuring robustness of AI models.
Preferred Experience
BS or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
Knowledge of data privacy, ethical AI, and bias mitigation in AI systems.
Experience using ML for data visualizations and dashboards
