AI Engineer Position Available In New York, New York

The AI Engineer (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC in New York, NY will conduct research and development on data-driven solutions for business problems. Manage all aspects of data science projects, from problem formulation to working with developers to productionize solutions. Build models and apply experience in text analytics. Develop innovative solutions for large-scale data sets used to develop new business insights. Determine the best tools and techniques available for new initiatives. Extract data from different data stores (SQL and no-SQL databases, s3, etc.). Preprocess data for consumption by machine learning models. Conduct and analyze feature engineering and feature selection. Run evaluations comparing multiple modeling techniques. Develop prototypes of tools and work with production teams to deploy models. Telecommuting permitted 1 day per week.

Salary:

$175,000 – $250,000 per year.

Requires a Master’s degree in Data Science, or a related field, plus 1 year in a professional data scientist, or related, occupation in the financial or investment industry. Must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: (1) enterprise data analytics; (2) Machine Learning; (3) time series analytics and modeling, including linear regression and autoregressive moving average models; (4) feature engineering and model evaluation; (5) Python for data manipulation and modeling; (6) SQL for querying and managing data stored in relational databases; (7) data visualization and prototyping, including plotly, matplotlib, and streamlit; (8) AWS services including Redshift, RDS, and S3; (9) manage verbal and written stakeholder interactions; and (10) provide end-to-end data driven solutions.
