A fast-growing AI-native SaaS startup is transforming operations and revenue management for boutique and independent hotels. By replacing legacy systems with intuitive, AI-powered tools, the platform enables hotel teams to focus on guest experience while automating back-office functions. With strong early traction and 12 live customers, the company is now looking to scale its engineering leadership.
THE ROLE
As Technical Co-Founder / Founding Engineer, you’ll lead the engineering function and play a pivotal role in shaping the product and technical direction. You’ll work closely with the CEO and co-founder to translate business needs into scalable, AI-native solutions, while building and managing a high-performing engineering team.
This is a high-ownership, long-term opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a founding team and help raise a seed round in the near future.
Define and execute the engineering strategy and architecture.
Lead full-stack development using React, Python, Node.js, and AWS.
Design and deploy AI-native features (e.g., chatbots, RAG pipelines, agent-based systems).
Build and manage a high-performing engineering team.
Collaborate with leadership on product and business strategy.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
SKILLS
Computer Science degree from a top university.
Senior-level engineering experience, ideally in early-stage startups.
Strong full-stack skills: Python, Node.js, React, AWS, and SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with LangChain, RAG, chatbots, and AI/ML toolkits (deep ML expertise not required).
Excellent communication and business-oriented mindset.
Experience managing engineers and delivering product milestones.
