Position Overview:
As an AI Specialist, you will lead the integration of artificial intelligence solutions into operational and project workflows across Cornerstone Engineering. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation in the AEC space by building scalable tools that improve efficiency, data access, and decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation that align with company goals and client needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and implement AI tools to support document management, data extraction, and automation of routine workflows. Develop natural language processing (NLP) solutions to enhance accessibility of company SOPs, internal documents, and archived data. Assist in integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into design software, BIM systems, and engineering tools. Work with business development and operations teams to build intelligent dashboards and automate reporting through platforms like Power BI. Research and recommend emerging AI technologies that align with business goals and project needs. Collaborate with IT and compliance to ensure secure and ethical deployment of AI tools. Develop internal training resources and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance company-wide adoption of AI solutions. Support the development of AI-based models for cost estimation, project forecasting, and resource planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages used for AI and machine learning. Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Proficiency in developing and deploying NLP models or working with large language models (LLMs). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments and disciplines. Experience in the AEC industry or familiarity with tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and Power BI is a plus.
