The Role:
The candidates should demonstrate proficiency in advanced computational tools and high dimensional analysis relevant to cutting-edge biological research. The candidate should have exceptional analytical skills enabling them to interpret and communicate intricate scientific insights effectively. A successful candidate will contribute to a deeper understanding of cancer biology in focused cancer indications and support the enabling of Astellas pipeline in oncology.

Responsibilities:
- + Provide technical leadership in the analysis of bulk and single cell NGS and DNA methylation to inform target discovery and mechanism-of-action studies.
+ Design and implement novel bioinformatics algorithms for sequence analysis. + Serve as an individual contributor on key projects, delivering high-impact analyses and tool development using Python, R, or similar languages + Partner with wet-lab biology research scientists, protein engineers and chemists to guide experimental design and validate computational predictions. + Design and implement computational algorithms to analyze multi-omics, multi-modal, and high-content data, with applications in target engagement evaluation, patient stratification, response prediction, indication selection, assay development, and diagnostic development. + Work with translational teams on biomarker discovery and, as needed, patient stratification strategies
