Senior Biostatistician 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars Newark, NJ 07103 • Hybrid work Biotrial Biometrics , CRO partner to the pharmaceutical industry for over 35 years, with an international presence, is looking for a full-time Senior Biostatistician – M/F for a position that can be based at one of our sites in Newark, New Jersey (USA), Laval, Quebec (Canada) or homebased with close access to one of our sites. In this position, you will manage all statistical aspects of Phase I to IV studies in various therapeutic areas. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities: Participate in protocol development with the scientific expertise team, define the most appropriate statistical methodology, write the statistical part of the protocol and evaluate the number of subjects required. Develop statistical analysis plans (SAP) for studies. Lead the implementation of innovative statistical methods within the biostatistics and programming teams for clinical and non-clinical projects using SAS or R. Collaborate with our pharmacokinetics team on PK/PD analyses and their interpretation. Validate ADaM, define.xml databases and all SAP analytical results. Write statistical reports and present statistical analysis results to our customers. Provide statistical support to our customers when submitting dossiers to health authorities. Supervise and advise biostatisticians on the choice of statistical methods. Keep abreast of new developments in statistics, drug development and regulation through literature reviews and attendance at industry workshops and conferences. This position will suit you if you: Have a Master’s .degree or thesis in biostatistics. Have an interest in methodological research. Speak English. Are familiar with SAS and clinical trials. Enjoy managing several projects at once. Good interpersonal skills.
