What we need… Strategic Software Development is looking for a BI Analyst that has strong attention to detail and proficiency with data warehousing and data visualization tools. The ideal candidate has a high attention to detail and can translate complex data into insights for valuable end user reporting. We’re looking for local candidate who can work a hybrid schedule in our Southington, CT office. Peer recognition programs What you’ll do… Develop and maintain application knowledge in area of design
Devise product functionality based upon customer/vendor input and industry requirements
Compose design documents related to issues and enhancements in accordance with COCC standards
Perform system testing of programmer’s implementation of design
Analyze client problems and propose solutions
Assist with quality assurance tasks
Other miscellaneous tasks What you’ll bring… Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
Experience in a banking or financial services environment is a plus
Experience in home banking applications and other electronic banking applications a plus
Exposure to SQL or other programming languages a plus
Solid analytical skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
Self-starter with ability to interact with various levels of staff and within teams
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with BI data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
Passion and drive to be part of a motivated team that delivers results while having fun!
Local candidates are preferred for this role Salary range for this role is $75,000-$95,000/annually Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not currently or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.
