Tampa, FL (Hybrid) or Remote (with occasional travel)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead BI Developer with deep expertise in Power
BI , DAX , SQL
, and data modeling best practices. This role will serve as a technical and strategic leader responsible for developing and optimizing dashboards, mentoring junior analysts, owning the BI data model, and partnering with stakeholders across the enterprise to drive performance visibility and actionable insights. At UVVC, we are transforming the delivery of vascular care through data-driven decisions, clinical innovation, and operational excellence. Our Business Intelligence (BI) team is the central nervous system for insights across clinical, operational, and financial domains. We’re looking for a BI leader who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution to help scale our analytics capabilities and support smarter healthcare decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Dashboard Development:
Own end-to-end development of advanced Power BI dashboards across clinical, operational, growth, and financial KPIs.
Model Design:
Build and optimize robust semantic models using star schema design, calculated columns, DAX measures, and relationships.
Data Governance & Quality:
Establish and enforce best practices around data validation, definitions, and governance standards to ensure accurate reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with business leads, clinicians, revenue cycle teams, and executives to translate ambiguous business questions into structured BI solutions.
Integration:
Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data pipelines (from Salesforce, NetSuite, Waystar, eCW, etc.) align with reporting needs and adhere to medallion architecture practices.
Performance Optimization:
Troubleshoot slow reports, improve load times, and drive report scalability using Power BI best practices and performance analyzer.

Power BI (Desktop & Service) DAX / M Language / Power Query Databricks / SQL Salesforce, NetSuite, e
CW Qualifications:
5+ years in BI, Data Analytics, or related field 3+ years developing Power BI dashboards and DAX measures at an advanced level Proven experience in healthcare, RCM, or multi-location outpatient operations a strong plus Strong understanding of data modeling (star schema, bridge tables, slowly changing dimensions, etc.) Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders Experience mentoring or managing other BI developers is highly preferred Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s a plus)
