Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a thorough understanding of
BOCC ERP
applications, providing support to fiscal staff and management organization-wide.
Lead projects as a subject matter expert, developing fiscal processes that directly impact departments reporting under the Board of County Commissioners.
Conduct engaging training sessions on all Oracle modules, guiding staff through various transactions and scenarios.
Collaborate across departments to develop key metrics, monitor success, and address exceptions.
Independently test new functionalities in the Oracle ERP system, evaluating impacts and identifying risks for successful implementation.
Research and analyze data to identify process improvements, ensuring future efficiency and effectiveness.
What You Bring:
Expertise in
ERP Systems:
Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP, particularly in Procure to Pay processes, transactions, and reporting.
Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to troubleshoot financial transaction issues and communicate solutions effectively.
Leadership Qualities:
Proven experience in leading diverse teams and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements This job is performed in a professional office environment where employees routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopies, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Minimum Qualifications Required
A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, technology or related field; AND
3 years of experience with financial/fiscal transactional/process analysis, configuration and/or process improvement experience in an ERP system; OR An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted below. (For education and experience only, does not include legally required Licenses or Certifications.)
Emergency Management Responsibilities
In the event of an emergency or disaster, an employee may be required to respond promptly to duties and responsibilities as assigned by the employee’s department, the County’s Office of Emergency Management, or County Administration. Such assignments may be for before, during or after the emergency/disaster.
